Eng. Remy Claude is a Certified professional Civil Engineer with Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Environmental Technology from KIST. He works with CCS Ltd on a project basis. He has provided significant contribution on a number of projects in the field of Civil & Structural engineering works.
Remy is a Registered Professional Civil & Structural Engineer by the Board of registration of Institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER) with practical experience more than 13 years in the field of Civil & Structural Engineering. Remy undertook coordination of construction projects, reviewed drawings and specifications, inspected all phases of engineering work in progress, coordinated site works, quality control management, health and safety, handled many different site tasks, followed up payments for works done and clearances from client, supervision of the work etc. Her experience in construction field is based on construction of Substations, power transmission, hydropower, multi-storeyed buildings, etc
He was involved in various construction projects such as the regional ICT Center of Excellence Kigali Campus, Construction of RURA Head Quarters (2 basements and G +11), IZUBA City Apartment Phase 1, Substations and transmission lines : Interconnection of Electric Grids of Nile Equatorial Lakes Countries, Rwanda-DRC Interconnection Project for construction of Lot : Substation(Rwanda Part) of the 220kV Transmission System Project Kibuye( Karongi)- Gisenyi( Rubavu)-Goma-Kigali(Shango and Birembo substation),110kV Transmission line Gahanga-Rilima, Rulindo sub station, GASEKE Hydro power plant. He worked with STRONG CONSTRUCTION Ltd; ATLAS Engineering Consultant; SODEC SARL, TAKAOKA Engineering; DONGIL Engineering and Construction Ltd; ISOLUX ENGENIERIA Ltd; STRISCO Ltd; Voyant solution private Ltd.
Eng. Remy has knowledge of software design. He has Management and analytical skills, Microsoft office (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), Graphic software (ArchiCAD, AutoCAD), Web technology (internet and E-mail).
